Baton Rouge General, Ascension Neighborhood Hospital

Baton Rouge General Ascension is a 60,000 square feet neighborhood hospital in Prairieville, LA. It will include a 10-bed inpatient hospital, 14-bed emergency room, lab, imaging and physician offices. Ascension Parish is one of the fastest growing areas in the country, and last year 22,000 hospital patients alone traveled to the Baton Rouge General for care. The new neighborhood hospital is set to bring comprehensive care closer to home for patients in Ascension Parish. Upon arrival, both emergency patients and clinical patients will be roomed immediately, reducing wait times and enhancing the overall patient experience.
