North Oaks Health, Cafeteria Renovation

The Dining Area at North Oaks Medical Center was in need of an update. Situated in one of the oldest parts of the campus, and facing an increase in visitor’ and staff, the existing facility was stretched to its limit, inefficient and was showing its age. The renovation goal was to create a fresh, updated and inviting space that would also improve the efficiency and operation of the space.

The project consisted of a full renovation and expansion of the existing kitchen and dining areas. The project was completed in 4 phases, allowing the entire renovation to occur while the kitchen and dining area remained in operation. All new, durable sustainable finishes restored life to the dining area, while a new outdoor eating area brought natural light into the space and expanded the dining experience beyond the exterior walls. Custom art glass sliding partitions that separate the serving area from the dining are the highlight of the space and reflect the updated function and finish that were the goals of the project.
