WHLC Architecture
When considering expansion of their existing downtown hospital, Oschner Lafayette General, was faced with the need to expand or relocate. Through design, phasing and coordination, WHLC helped them expand in place, saving the hospital millions and avoiding turning their back on the in-town neighborhood that they've served for decades.
The LSU Eunice STEAM Innovation Center will bring state-of-the-art, flexible, science on display education to central Louisiana. LSU Eunice prides itself on their Allied Health placement rate, and the STEAM Innovation Center will tremendously increase their impact educating future generations.
A centerpiece of the downtown River Center in Baton Rouge, the new library is designed to be an engaging cultural space and community amenity. Envisioned as a multifaceted learning resource, the library provides traditional collections as well as a range of new creative learning spaces including a maker room, green screen film stage and recording studio.
