Quad Magazine features WHLC Architect Micah Morgan in new article about design responses to the Baton Rouge flood
In their Spring 2017 issue, Quad Magazine, a publication of the LSU College of Arts and Design includes an article entitled "A Flood of Knowledge" focusing on design responses to the recent Baton Rouge flood. WHLC's Micah Morgan was featured in a section of the article focusing on the implications, responsibilities, and opportunities that designers face in attempting to maintain existing communities affected by an changing environment. "Designers have an opportunity to help find solutions that enable our communities to remain vibrant and flourishing in the face a of changing environment...The solutions will come on a community-by- community basis; action takes place project by project, and the codes should adapt to allow for new design innovations...The flood brings these issues to the forefront of everyone's minds, which helps us address these concerns." quotes the article.
