Laura Walker
Designer, LEED AP ID+C
Originally from Oregon, Laura moved to the South to attend Auburn University where she received her bachelor’s degree in interior design as well as a minor in business. Laura’s love for interior design stemmed from a combination of drawing floorplans on graph paper as a child and traveling around the world experiencing unique architecture from different countries and cultures.
Laura believes in creating spaces that not only fulfill their practical purpose, but also leave a lasting impression, offering a unique and enriching experience for all who encounter them. Maximizing utility without compromising on aesthetics is extremely important to her, especially in the healthcare realm when aesthetics are vital to creating a space where patients feel safe and welcome and can be key in a patients’ recovery. Laura is currently working towards becoming an NCIDQ certified designer as well as achieving her LEED AP ID+C.
In her free time, she enjoys many actives including cooking, sewing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
