Skylar Vollmer

Growing up in Northern Virginia, Skylar developed a deep appreciation for architecture during her visits to Washington, DC. Her love for exploring new places led her to move to Baton Rouge to pursue her Bachelor’s in Architecture from Louisiana State University. She is fascinated by how a building can be worth a thousand words and can emotionally move people without explanation. Her ambition is to explore the relationship between parametric and traditional design, using her work to create meaningful messages. Outside of her studies, Skylar loves to explore new art forms, ranging from stained glass restoration to playing the tuba and spending time with her friends.
