Lady of the Sea, Hospital Replacement

Lady of the Sea General Hospital is a replacement hospital with plans to open in 2026. The 84,000 square feet critical access hospital is located in Cut Off, LA and the completion of this facility will restore essential services that the South LaFourche community has been without since Hurricane Ida in 2021.

The facility will include a 15-bed Inpatient Unit, 9-bed Emergency Department, Lab, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Imaging, which includes CT, MRI, Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Dexa, and Ultrasound. In addition, the hospital will provide Administration and Business offices, along with a large Community Room. 

LaFourche Parush has proven to be one of the most resilient communities and the new permanent hospital will be a reflection of the strength of its community. With the opening of this facility, LaFourche Parish will be able to provide healthcare services close to home for many years to come.
