​Reinventing Food Service with a Fresh Environment
The Dining Area at North Oaks Medical Center was in need of an update. Situated in one of the oldest parts of the campus, and facing an increase in visitors and staff, the existing facility was inefficient, showing its age, and stretched to its limit. The renovation goal was to create a fresh, updated and inviting space that would improve the efficiency and operation of the space.
The project consisted of a full renovation and expansion of the existing kitchen and dining areas. Completed in 4 phases, the entire renovation occurred while the kitchen and dining area remained in operation. All new, durable and sustainable finishes restored life to the dining area, while a new outdoor eating area brought natural light into the space and expanded the dining experience beyond the exterior walls.
The highlight of the space are the custom art glass sliding partitions that separate the serving and dining areas and reflect the updated function and finish of the project.
